2005 Napa Valley Malbec
Bonneau is proud to present this rare Napa Valley Malbec wine. Originally popularized by the French in Cahors and Bordeaux, the Malbec grape is now making a much deserved resurgence in the New World. Our wine has aromas of blackberry, clove, cassis and oak. These aromas follow through to combine with elements of currants, mocha and allspice flavors.
Malbec is noted for its texture. True to form, our wine coats the palate with layers of bakers chocolate and silky tannins. Lastly, the wine presents an elegant and lingering finish that is structured for aging.
