2003 Los Carneros Chardonnay, Catherine's Vineyard

Grown entirely in our flagship 30 acre “Catherine Bonneau” Vineyard, the fruit for our Private Reserve Chardonnay represents the absolute cream of our crop. This wine shows a full golden-straw color. The nose displays ripe aromas of tropical fruits intermixed with pear and white peach accented with hints of toasted hazelnuts. On the palate the wine is creamy, round and sleek with succulent citrus and pineapple flavors tastefully framed by delicately toasted French Oak. The finish is lush and shows a delightful suggestion of vanilla bean.
