*2004 Bonneau, Los Carneros Chardonnay, Catherine's Vineyard
All the grapes for our flagship Chardonnay wine were hand harvested from the Catherine Bonneau Vineyard and carefully transported to the winery. After gently pressing whole clusters, the juice was fermented in 100% French oak barrels.

This wine shows a full, lemon-yellow color. Aromas display ripe pineapples, lemon zest intermixed with white peach and accents of toast and hazelnuts. On the palate the wine presents succulent citrus and tropical flavors tastefully framed by the delicate oak, with a creamy round texture. The finish is lush and manifests a delightful suggestion of vanilla bean.
Our finest effort yet. Less than 800 cases were produced.

*2005 Bonneau, Los Carneros Chardonnay, Catherine's Vineyard
Bonneau's fourth Los Carneros, Chardonnay wine release is made from our own estate-grown grapes. The Catherine Bonneau vineyard is located 8 miles south of Sonoma.

This exquisite Chardonnay is bright golden yellow in color. The nose wafts with citrus and ripe tropical fruit. These ripe fruit flavors fill the palate and are nicely framed by a modest amount of high quality French oak. The texture is supple with the silkiness of glycerin in the mouth. It has a snappy, slightly spicy finish that lingers on the palate. This well balanced wine has layers of complexity and a special air of refinement that speaks to the care and attention to detail in the making of this wine.

Full-bodied and juicy on the palate with finely integrated tannins and silky smooth texture where more ripe, juicy black fruits emerge. The finish is succulent and expansive. While this wine is a treat to enjoy in it's youth, it will continue to gain depth and richness for at least 5-7 years. 550 cases were produced.

*2004 Bonneau, "Sonoma County" Cabernet Sauvignon
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine were grown in selected vineyards in Sonoma County. The grapes were fully mature at harvest, creating a wine with aromas of blackberry, loganberry and cassis. Similar black fruit flavors follow on the palate with notes of black cherry and exotic spices. 10% Petit Verdot enhances the complexity, richness and texture. This elegant wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Round, supple tannins in the structure lead to a long, silky finish. While our wine is ready to drink now, it will age gracefully for many years.
